Member Support Staff are eligible for a range of schemes to support with the commute to work...

As a permanent and full time member of staff you’ll have 31 days paid holiday a year and 11 days public and privilege holidays a year (if you don’t work standard hours you will receive a pro-rata entitlement proportionate to your working pattern).

You will be eligible to join our Member Support Staff pension Scheme. The Scheme is run by a company called Aviva.

A wide range of learning opportunities are available to support Members and their staff in carrying out their different roles. The training we provide covers a number of different areas from parliamentary skills, to supporting constituents, to working together effectively as a small constituency office team. All new support staff are offered basic training on Commission services, and can access further training, support and advice from the Commission’s Member Learning Team.
