Senior Communications and Campaigns Officer for Jeremy Miles MS
Salary Range: £30,520 - £42,811 pro-rata
All new staff are expected to enter on the scale minimum of the appropriate pay band. Individual staff will, subject to satisfactory performance, move up the incremental scale one point at a time on the anniversary of their commencement of employment until they reach the scale maximum for their band.

Job Purpose:
To provide the Member of the Senedd with campaign, constituency and parliamentary support, and assistance in terms of press publicity and social media, ensuring that standards of confidentiality are maintained.
Main Duties:
- Campaign strategy development – to identify opportunities to develop and deliver effective campaigns across the constituency, promoting the work of the Member.
- Develop and maintain high level networks and relationships with key stakeholders in the Constituency and wider.
- To produce high quality campaign materials, regular reports, and print informing the public of the work undertaken by the Member of the Senedd.
- Establish a broad range of contacts within the press, broadcast and online media in order to promote the work of the Member of the Senedd
Essential Knowledge and Experience
- Working effectively within an office environment, including resolving complex issues with tact and diplomacy, ideally in a political environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of issues relevant to the local area.
- Understanding of, and commitment to, combating discrimination and promoting the equality of opportunities and the Nolan Principles of Public life.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or;
- Formal Qualification eg NVQ level 4 or equivalent in media or communications
